Soybean meal
Soybean meal is produced from the processing of the soya beans which are grown in countries with hot summer months such as the US, Brazil, and Argentina. It is rich in proteins and sulphurous amino acids and is therefore the main source of protein in all farm animals. Soybean meal is also rich in calcium, zinc, iron, phosphorus and magnesium. In the market, two types of soybean meal exist, the High Pro (47-49% protein) and the Low Pro (43-44% protein). M. D. Cyprus Soya Ltd trades only High Pro Soybean meal.
Grains
Grains (wheat, barley, corn) are used in the feed of farm animals as a source of energy because of their high hydrocarbon content. Corn, thanks to its ability to grow in a variety of climates, is the world's largest grain crop. The US, China, Brazil, Mexico, France, Argentina, Ukraine, Russia and some EU countries are the major corn-producing countries in the world. Wheat is the second (after corn) to harvest grain. It mainly thrives in countries that do not have hot and humid climates. Barley is mainly grown in Russia, Ukraine, France, Germany, Australia and Canada.
Sunflower meal
Sunflower meal is produced from sunflower seeds and is used in the feed of farm animals as a complementary source of protein. Sunflower meal is available in pellets.
Sugar beet pulp
Sugar beet pulp is produced from beet processing and is used in the feed of farm animals as a complementary source of energy. Sugar beet pulp is available in pellets.

Alfalfa is an important livestock plant in the world. It is cultivated in over 70 countries. It contains high levels of many essential vitamins such as A, B, D, E, K and is rich in minerals.
Lysine
Lysine is one of 22 protein amino acids and is essential for protein synthesis. It is not created by the animal organism so it must be imported from their food. Lysine, in addition to its involvement in protein synthesis, helps build tissue and heal wounds.
Soycomil
